I like to ride bikes a long way and have adventures. Hopefully, by sharing some of those adventures, I’ll inspire others to take up long distance cycling and realise that the adventures don’t have to be expensive or require months off work.

Most of my adventures are just for fun, but I do occasionally chuck in a race or competition to keep things interesting. In 2016 I started the Transcontinental with a dislocated Acromioclavicular joint and made it as far as Paris before pulling the plug. In 2017 I came second at London-Edinburgh-London, logging 66 hours despite being hit by a bus a few weeks before and starting with a huge sleep deficit. In 2018 I made it half way around the TransAtlantic Way after starting with a virus that became a chest infection. 2019 is still being planned…

Find me on Strava, Twitter and Instagram for regular updates between the blog posts.
